Narrative: Narrative: On Jan. 18, 2013, the community involvement initiative Stop It! gathered more than 1,000 community members at Messiah Missionary Baptist Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to discuss responses to a recent increase in violent crime in the city. Following that meeting, clergy members and other community leaders led eight community dialogues about six topics at various neighborhood locations. The document summarizes those discussions.
